- Up to 50 points that can be secured for ability in the French language and English language
- Up to 15 points that can be secured for a family in Canada (one family member of the primary applicant and the accompanying spouse or common-law partner is considered)

You will get additional points for including your Spouse / Common-Law Partner in the application. You can obtain extra points for three factors. 20 points will be offered to you for the language proficiency of your Spouse / Common-Law Partner. 10 points will be offered for work experience in Canada and 10 points for studies in Canada.
