The NBPNP Express Entry Labor Market Category accepts Expressions of Interest only from those applicants who can satisfy the specific requirements. The eligibility criteria of this stream are unique. With effect from July 2019, this immigration stream is accepting EOIs of those candidates who can satisfy the below requirements:

• Possess an authentic Express Entry profile
• Be currently staying and employed in the province
• The Employment Letter from the employer has to be included with the EOI
• The occupation must be included under NOC Code 0, B, or A positions and the NOC Code has to be specified in the EOI
• Possess an authentic Work Permit in Canada
• Possess proficiency in English or French language demonstrated through test scores on par with 7 Canadian Language Benchmark level
• Possess ECA Report proving educational qualifications corresponding to Canadian Diploma at High School level

Factors of Selection

New Brunswick PNP Stream Labor Market Express Entry requires interested applicants to file an EOI. They have to first confirm their eligibility for the category and then create an online profile in the pool of Express Entry candidates. The EOI has to be then presented to the NBPNP via e-mail.

The NBPNP at times keeps pausing the acceptance of EOIs. Differing from most of the other Canadian provinces, New Brunswick does not publish the time period for acceptance of new EOIs. It assesses the EOIs received and chooses the highly appropriate candidates to submit a complete application for Provincial Nomination.

Entrepreneurial NBPNP Category

New Brunswick PNP Category Entrepreneurial is among the immigration streams of the Canadian PNP the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program. The stream targets business owners with experience or Senior Business Managers seeking to settle in New Brunswick.

The candidates who possess a qualified connection with the province are eligible to submit an EOI for the Entrepreneurial Category. They must have stayed in New Brunswick for at least five business days in the last 12 months. Instead, they can also have participated in an information session for the category in the last 12 months.

Successful candidates are required to start a new business or buy a present business and participate keenly in its day-to-day supervisory functions. They are offered an invitation to apply through a regular New Brunswick PNP draw.

Entrepreneurial Category Assessment Grid

You must obtain at least sixty-five points under the Assessment Grid to become eligible to submit an EOI to the Entrepreneurial Category. Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial NBPNP Category

New Brunswick PNP Category Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial targets overseas nationals who have pursued studies and received Graduate Degrees from a school at the Post-secondary level in New Brunswick. They are also required to have established a successful enterprise in the New Brunswick province.

Candidates applying for the category are required to have obtained a valid degree at the Post-secondary level in the Province. They are also required to manage and own an enterprise in New Brunswick for at least 12 months.

Applicants must also have studied for at least 24 months in a full-time program at the Post-secondary level in the Province. This can be a New Brunswick Community College or an accredited University. The candidates must also have lived in the province for the academic program’s duration.

Business Requirements

For qualifying for the Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Category, you have to own and manage a successful business in New Brunswick for a minimum of last 12 months. Further, the business must also satisfy specific additional criteria. Candidates must possess full ownership of the enterprise and be actively involved in its daily administration.

Applicants are required to receive a salary from their business that satisfies the Cut-Off for Low-Income with added 10%. The enterprise has to be a profit-making entity and employ at least one Citizen or Permanent Resident in Canada as a full-time worker.

Skilled Worker Applicants with Employer Support NBPNP Category

Applicants with Employer Support Skilled Worker Category targets overseas workers who are highly skilled and possess an authentic employment offer from a New Brunswick employer. The offer of a job has to be in a position at Skill Level B, A, or 0 in National Occupational Classification. It has to be classified as a Skill Type 8, 9, 1, 7, or 3 in NOC if it is for a NOC Skill Level C or D position for being regarded as authentic.
